Alexander Zverev and Sam Querrey advanced into the quarterfinals at the China Open after successful 4th day of play in Beijing.
After Stefanos Tsitsipas won his match, Sam Querrey stood on the court against Diego Schwartzman. The big American player was losing already 0-3 in the first set, but managed to turn it and win in the tie-break.
In the second set, it was Querrey, who was leading 5-3, but this time it was Schwartzman who turned the set and won it in a tie-break. Querrey maintained a high-level of play during the whole match, when he scored 32 aces and won the third set 6-3.
The last couple to play on Thursday was Zverev and Auger-Aliassime. After
Zverev dumped out Tiafoe in the first round, he easily coped with the Canadian player in the second round in an hour and 3 minutes 6-3 and 6-1.
