During the 6th day of action in Beijing we've seen four 3rd round matches that all ended within 2 sets.

Caroline Wozniacki was the first player to advance on Thursday when she defeated Katerina Siniakova 7-5 and 6-4. Wozniacki is defending the title from the last year at the China Open.
Later she was joined by Naomi Osaka who faced Alison Riske. The Japanse former world number one was losing already 2-4 in the first set. But since then, she did not lose a single game and won the match 6-4 and 6-0. She added 7th in in straight-sets in a row to her account.
Daria Kasatkina follows up on a good form in China. First she defeated home player Shuai Peng and in the 2nd round she coped with Wuhan Open winner Aryna Sabalenka. Even Ekaterina Alexandrova, who outplayed Simona Halep in the previous round, did not stop her and the Russian advances into the quarterfinals.
Bianca Andreescu is still unstoppable also in China. The US Open champion defeated Jennifer Brady easily 6-1 and 6-3. The last two matches Andreescu was not the winner of were at the French Open, when she withdrew before the match and in Miami where she retired during the match due to injury. Not considering these 2 matches, Andreescu won already 27 matches in a row, when the last player that managed to stop her was Sofia Kenin in Acapulco.
