Andre Agassi will take part in the second edition of
Pickleball Slam and has been ramping up preparation with his wife,
Steffi Graf seemingly back home on his own court.
Agassi and Graf will team up for the first time in the second edition of Pickleball Slam in a dream match against the respective contemporaries of John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova.
The former made his pickleball debut in April 2023, where he partnered with Andy Roddick to win the inaugural edition. McEnroe defeated Agassi 15-13, 16-14 and Roddick beat Michael Chang 15-10, 15-10. The doubles match was the tie-breaker which saw Agassi and Roddick seal the win 21-15, 21-23, 12-10.
Graf was seen at the first edition, seemingly teasing playing in the next edition with videos surfacing of her hitting with Agassi during the break. But this time, she will actually play on February 4, 2024 vying for $1m.
They showed their readiness with a sharp clip of them hitting with the caption 107 days out and a trophy emoji as they look for the win.
