2022 Australian Open Day Six ATP & WTA Schedule including Halep, Sabalenka, Tsitsipas and Medvedev

The sixth day of action begins at the 2022 Australian Open with Simona Halep, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev among those in action.
Tsitsipas begins a later ATP session at 03:00 GMT or 04:00 CET, he faces a resurgent Benoit Paire. While after his clash with Nick Kyrgios, next for Daniil Medvedev is Dutch ace, Botic van de Zandschulp.
Also on the schedule include Dan Evans, the final surviving Brit facing Felix Auger-Aliassime, Andrey Rublev taking on Marin Cilic and Jannik Sinner faces the slayer of Andy Murray in Taro Daniel.
On the WTA side, shocks galore has meant that Simona Halep, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are among the top names involved.
Clara Tauson faces Danielle Collins, while Tamara Zidansek again making strides in a Grand Slam takes on Alize Cornet.
Simona Halep faces Danka Kovinic who saw off Emma Raducanu, while Aryna Sabalenka aims to displace his double fault woes in facing Marketa Vondrousova.
Swiatek and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova are part of the night session facing Daria Kasatkina and Sorana Cirstea respectively.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
