Aryna Sabalenka and Naomi Osaka steal the spotlight at Vogue Milano Fashion Week while Lorenzo Musetti dances with Jennifer Lopez

Tennis has been put to one side by many of its top stars this week with a different motive in mind. The likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka and Lorenzo Musetti have all stolen the spotlight at the Vogue Milano Fashion Week.

The event took place at Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II on September 22. It boasted some of the most notable and recognisable celebrities in the world, with the tennis players fitting right in.

One of the most prominent there in terms of a fashion sense was Osaka, who has taken this interest and showcased it in the tennis world in recent times. Walking onto the Grand Slam stage in all four events in 2026, she has set herself apart from the rest with some incredible fashion choices.

From a jellyfish in Melbourne to a sparkling Eifel-Tower-inspired dress to the glistening all-white Japanese kimono at Wimbledon. She capped off these displays in New York with basketball-inspired attire.

In Milan, it is a completely different setting. She does not have to be fully focused ahead of the imminent tennis match, now allowed to enjoy it more and lap up the attention. The four-time Grand Slam champion was seen wearing a black, floor-length gown.

Sabalenka was also switching off from tennis, walking down the runway while dazzling in a glamorous outfit. She suffered her most recent major upset at the US Open where Elena Rybakina defeated her in the final while also snatching away the World No.1 spot in the process.

The Belarusian will be desperate to react in the coming weeks and months with the Asian swing and WTA Finals a great chance for her to claw her way back up the order towards Rybakina. For the time being, however, that was the least of her concerns as she enjoyed some downtime in Milan.

After going to the San Siro to watch AC Milan thrash Lecce 3-0, she was the main attraction in the fashion event. She walked during the third act of the show with bucket loads of confidence, strutting down the runway with a basketball-inspired black and orange Nike dress. The dedicated theme was 'Made in Italy.' Beforehand, she was getting lessons in how to catwalk by Russian model and actress Irina Shayk. The lessons seemed to have paid off.

Wearing a black and white tuxedo, Musetti caught the attention not just after asking for a dance with Jennifer Lopez.

The American singer accepted his offer, sharing a brief twirl together before the two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist stepped out of the way and let Lopez steal the show.

It is a big deal for Musetti, who was back in his native Italy surrounded by some huge celebrities. It is a brief positive to a year full of negatives. He was one set away from defeating Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open quarter-finals before injury forced him to retire in a cruel twist of fate.

He has not since recovered, dropping from the top five out of the top 20 with his most recent second round loss at the US Open to wildcard Dane Sweeny a really painful blow. He will join up with the rest of his ATP rivals in Asia as he looks to get back to his best form. He will feature in the Japan Open ahead of the Shanghai Masters. He will not be returning to the ATP Finals in Turin following his woeful campaign.
