Ashleigh Barty and
Felix Auger-Aliassime were revealed as this year's winners of the
US Open Sportsperson Awards on Thursday.
An award designated to tennis players who best demonstrate excellence in sportspersonship throughout not only the US Open and the US Open series, it has gone to the World No.1 and rising Canadian talent for best exemplifying this.
Eligibility requirements are set by participating in at least two Series tournaments (e.g Cincinnati) and the US Open and is picked by a panel of USTA representatives.
Barty previously won the award in 2018, while the likes of Naomi Osaka, Roger Federer and Angelique Kerber are previous victors.
