Boris Becker, six-time Major winner spoke recently about Simona Halep and believes that she needs to change an aspect of her game to achieve long-term success.
Becker believes that aspect in Halep's game is to not run as much and that she looks very tired during the second half of the year because she needs to use a lot of stamina to win matches.
The legend said that in the second half of the season in particular he can see it and that winning two matches in a row as a result can get complicated.
"I have been knowing Simona for a long time", said Becker.
"I commentated her matches and I saw her winning last year's French Open and Wimbledon. She has unbelievable legs. Physically, she is not the tallest and the strongest. But she is very smart, she has a big heart. Now she is on holidays otherwise she would have been here.
I think Simona is at a top level. The question mark she should set is how she can go throughout a season as she looks very tired during the second half of the year because she needs to run a lot to win her matches. Physically and mentally, during the second half of the season she gets tired and winning two matches in a row becomes something complicated for her."
