All is set for the final two women's quarterfinal matches at Roland Garros, in search of the two players who will join Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek in the French Open semifinals.
There will be an all-American clash between Grand Slam champions Madison Keys and Coco Gauff, while teenager Mirra Andreeva will face the tournament's biggest surprise, Lois Boisson.

Mirra Andreeva vs. Lois Boisson

Mirra Andreeva has had a remarkable few weeks in Paris, maintaining the high level she's shown over the last month, where she reached the quarterfinals in Madrid and Rome – falling to Coco Gauff in both. She boasts 10 wins in her last 12 matches and is looking to reach the French Open semifinals for the second consecutive year.
The Russian teenager continues her run without dropping a set, having had a smooth first week, overcoming Cristina Bucsa, Ashlyn Krueger, and Yulia Putintseva (32nd seed) in straight sets. In the fourth round, things got a bit tougher against her friend Daria Kasatkina (17th seed), but Andreeva was more incisive in the key moments to secure the victory.
The world No. 6 now faces an unexpected opponent: local wildcard Lois Boisson, who is merely world No. 361 and has had a dream tournament in Paris. The Frenchwoman is in her first Grand Slam main draw and is already among the top eight. She arrives after overcoming Jessica Pegula (No. 3) in the best win of her career, and at this stage, with nothing to lose and being an unknown opponent for Andreeva, she will be ready to deliver another surprise.

Madison Keys vs. Coco Gauff

An all-American clash for a semifinal spot, where Gauff will be a slight favorite, being the more consistent player in recent months of the clay-court swing. The 21-year-old reached finals in Madrid and Rome, totaling 14 wins in her last 16 appearances. Additionally, at her young age, this is already her 5th consecutive appearance among the top four at Roland Garros and her 10th time in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam.
The 2023 US Open champion has yet to concede a set and delivered a remarkable performance in the fourth round to eliminate the always dangerous Ekaterina Alexandrova (20th seed) with a 6-0, 7-5 victory. Gauff is looking to return to the French Open semifinals, where she fell last year to Iga Swiatek.
On the other side will be Australian Open champion Madison Keys, who continues to show her season-long consistency. She has a 28-6 record this season and is 11-0 in Grand Slam tournaments. Keys was close to a collapse in the third round against Sofia Kenin, where she was down 0-3 in the third set but managed a comeback to advance 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. After that, she showed her confidence by eliminating Hailey Baptiste in the fourth round and will now face her compatriot Gauff. They have met five times, with Keys winning 3, including their only prior encounter on clay courts back at the Madrid Open 2024.
