James Blake, former World No.4 has given his thoughts on Roger Federer potentially reaching the record mark set previously by Jimmy Connors.

Federer is only six away but due to his age, Blake believes it is too far away to be reached and that all other records can be achieved by the Swiss ace.
He added that only two things will change the course of the next few years of his career; father time and also injuries and he believes that if he has one more injury it could change everything.
"He is evolving and changing. I still think 109 is so far away", admitted the Miami Open Tournament Director. "Six titles at 38 years old, to come in and win that many more, I know I said last year that 109 is too far, I think all the other records are within reached.
Eventually father time wins. The only person that is a favorite over Roger Federer is Father Time. He has been so healthy his whole career, he did not have too many major injuries, one injury at this point at this age could change everything."
