Boris Becker interview in posh restaurant leaves journalist baffled at ludicrous water bill: "Almost 24 euro for two bottles of water?"

Boris Becker has been somewhat a hot commodity when it comes to interviews since he left prison but a journalist found out this also came at a cost during a visit to Munich.

Interviewing Becker for the Financial Times, Alec MacGillis was left stunned when he saw the ludicrous water bill which stung a bit.

The restaurant charged EUR 23.80 for two bottles of water more than one meal with the journalist joking but also receiving some good responses.

"That’s what they call beer in Munich," said one user while another questioned if it was holy water or had tiny gold pieces floating in it to which the restaurant as per tz.de responded that it was not a calculation error and was the actual price.
