Boris Becker reportedly gets engaged to 33-year-old girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro after secret proposal

As Valentines Day takes place, Boris Becker is thought to be engaged to his girlfriend after a secret proposal as per German newspaper BILD and is planning his third marriage for later this year after previously being married to Lilly and Barbara.
Becker has been with 33-year-old political risk manager Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro for several years including during his stint in prison. They moved to Milan together on his release on prison where he served eight months of a two-and-a-half year sentence for insolvency crimes.
Becker has mainly returned to work albeit he can't travel to many countries due to his conviction which has restricted him including as a coach with the German recently splitting from Holger Rune after only a few months due to not having the time to spend with training the Dane and it seems instead he will be planning a wedding.
A well educated person with three degrees and speaks five languages, Monteiro comes from a family of success with her father being Sao Tome and Principe's defence minister previously and now she lives in the heart of Milan where he initially proposed back in 2021. But the hope of a wedding was cut short by the fact that he was soon to be locked up in prison. After his stint though, they relocated from the UK to Milan.
He broke up with wife Lilly in 2018 after nine years together and his first marriage one year less to Barbara Becker but having moved on with his life and despite his girlfriend being 23 years his junior, it looks like a third marriage is on the cards.
'Boris is incredibly grateful to Lilian for staying with him through 'the hardest time' of his life," said a source about Becker to The Sun.
'He said, "she saved me, and I will never forget her for that. She is the woman of my new life!"'
