America’s Jennifer Brady has named the current world number one
Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and the former world number one America’s Serena
Williams GOAT tennis player in the history of the sport.
The 28-year-old, while interacting with the fans on social media
on Reddit, was asked who the Greatest of All Time player or players in the
history of tennis is, to which she responded by saying: "Serena and Novak.".
She was then asked which retired player she would like to face
and her response was: “Serena Williams because she was so dominant and I want
to know what that level was like to play against."
Djokovic is often termed the greatest player in history of
the men’s single tennis in the Open era, having won as many as 23 Grand Slams
in his career.
His most successful competition has been the Australian Open
where he has lifted the title 10 times — 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016,
2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023.
On the other hand, Williams also finished her illustrious
career after winning 23 major titles in her career.
The 41-year-old’s most successful outing came in the
Australian Open and Wimbledon where she ended up lifting the title seven times.
