Coric and Vekic win 2023 Hopman Cup for Croatia

Facing Switzerland's pairing of Celine Naef and Leandro Riedl, Croatia have officially win the 2023 Hopman Cup which was revived in Nice, France.

Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune were among the players involved earlier in the week, but couldn't mount a challenge for the Hopman Cup.

Instead it was Borna Coric and Donna Vekic for Croatia who sealed victory winning both of their singles rubbers.

Vekic started off with victory over Naef 6-3, 6-4, before Coric sealed victory over Riedl winning 6-1, 6-4 to seal the title.

Switzerland are among one of the most successful teams in the event, they have won four titles including the 2019 crown but despite Belinda Bencic's withdrawal, the young Swiss team reached the final but ran out of steam in Nice.
