Ons Jabeur pulls off a hilarious prank on Mirra Andreeva in new social media series
Ons Jabeur had fans in stitches with her hilarious prank on teenager Mirra Andreeva during a segment of her new social media series, "What’s Going Ons." The Tunisian teamed up with
Daria Kasatkina to trick Andreeva into thinking Jabeur was crying because the 17-year-old had recently named her as an idol in an interview.
The two have faced off twice so far, with Andreeva winning both encounters. The first took place when Andreeva was just 16, and she shocked the tennis world by defeating the 6th seed at the 2024 Australian Open with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 scoreline. They met again in the 2025 Brisbane International quarterfinals, where Andreeva triumphed once more, 6-4, 7-6.
Jabeur has often displayed her great sense of humor off the court, and she is currently starring in a WTA social media series where she shares behind-the-scenes moments from the WTA circuit, with her signature wit. During this prank, a member of the production crew told Andreeva that Jabeur was in tears due to her recent interview.
They quickly led Andreeva to Jabeur, who was ‘crying’ uncontrollably in a chair while Daria Kasatkina – one of Andreeva's closest friends on tour – consoled her. "Am I still your idol, or don't I?” Jabeur sobbed as Andreeva approached. “Of course, you're still my idol,” a flustered Andreeva replied. Watch the hilarious moment where Andreeva falls for the former world No. 2's prank.
Alejandro Tabilo stuns Novak Djokovic again, reaches third round in Monte-Carlo
Alejandro Tabilo delivered an incredible performance on Wednesday in the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters, defeating 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-4. This wasn’t the first time the Chilean had surprised the Serbian; one year ago, Tabilo also eliminated Djokovic from the Italian Open in the Round of 32 with a dominant 6-2, 6-3 victory. The left-hander now boasts a 2-0 record against Djokovic, one of the few negative head-to-heads for the Serbian.
Tabilo’s reaction was emotional after the win, as he described his performance as "horrible" but still praised Djokovic’s level of play. The Chilean was ecstatic after the upset, marking his first-ever third-round appearance at the Monte-Carlo Masters. The world No. 32 will fase Grigor Dimitrov (15th), who defeated Nicolas Jarry and Valentin Vacherot in his path.
Jack Draper stars in Burberry's Summer 2025 campaign
Jack Draper was the star of Burberry's Summer 2025 campaign, unveiled on Wednesday. The campaign features model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Draper, who, with their sophistication and magnetism, bring to life a collection that celebrates light, luxury, and the warmth of summer.
The World No. 6 sported a unique swimsuit and shirt look during a recent photoshoot while continuing to expand his presence beyond the tennis courts, venturing into the world of modeling. The 2025 Indian Wells champion has already posed for several fashion shoots, appearing in magazines such as Vogue and Tatler, and is one of the Louis Vuitton ambassadors, just like
Carlos Alcaraz.
Draper returned to winning form this Tuesday, defeating Marcos Giron in impressive fashion, 6-1, 6-1. The British No. 1 is preparing for a tough challenge against Spanish player Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the Round of 16, who has already defeated heavyweights like Ben Shelton (11th seed) and clay-specialist Tomas Martin Etcheverry.
“I missed clay”: Alcaraz celebrates first Monte-Carlo Masters win
Carlos Alcaraz celebrated a major win over Francisco Cerúndolo, coming from a set down to triumph 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 in a stellar performance from the 4-time Grand Slam champion. It also marked his first-ever victory at the Monte-Carlo Masters. The world No. 3 responded in time to eliminate the Argentine and reach the third round, where he will face Germany’s Daniel Altmaier.
It was Alcaraz’s first clay-court match since winning the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Spaniard had previously put together a 12-match winning streak on clay, which took him all the way to the final at Roland Garros — this time during the Olympic Games — where he fell to Novak Djokovic, just short of clinching the gold medal.
Alcaraz expressed his joy on court, posted celebratory photos on social media, and left his signature on the camera lens after the match. “I missed clay,” he wrote on the Monte-Carlo camera.
