Roger Federer and Alexander Zverev recently played exhibition matches in South America, but they missed one in Colombia due to a curfew.
Sascha and Roger created a new
world record in Mexico during their tour and enjoyed some nice moments while showing some quality tennis in Latin America. Previously,
Zverev thanked Roger for inviting him on this tour, but now there is another problem. Players missed the match in Bogota and Roger and his agent promise, the match will happen or they will refund the money.
"We are very sad and in a very difficult economic situation," the organizers said. "The expenses were the same, but many earnings disappeared. Some sponsors supported us, but not all of them."
Federer's agent Tony Godsick said: "Roger (will) compensate fans in Bogota. Our goal is to organize the match next year. If it's not possible, Roger will give his fee back and he will make sure his fans get the money back for their tickets. The fans were unbelievably noisy when he played there (in 2012). This nice story doesn't have to finish this way."
