Hanfmann among early victors at Chile Dove Men+Care Open Santiago alongside Cerundolo

Heading into Day Two of action at the Dove Men+Care Open in Santiago, Yannick Hanfmann was among the early winners on Monday.

Hanfmann saw off Pedro Martinez 6-2, 6-0 with the German Davis Cup player who qualified through to the main draw seemingly easing through.

But he only got through after 95 minutes showing a disparity in the scoreline. He will face Nicolas Jarry or Juan Pablo Varillas in the next round.

Juan Manuel Cerundolo is also through his opener seeing off Pedro Cachin in three sets yesterday with Dominic Thiem, Fabio Fognini and Laslo Djere involved today.
