Iga Swiatek dominates the field amongst both male and female top prize money earners in 2024

In addition to successfully defending of her Roland Garros title, Iga Swiatek was awarded a lucrative check of over $2 million for lifting the trophy. The Polish star has built a steady lead over her colleagues in both the WTA and ATP Tour when it comes to prize money for the 2024 season.
The last few years have seen male players dominate the combined top earners list. However, Swiatek has been at the top of the list for 2024, with three other female tennis players joining her in the top 10.
10. Coco Gauff - $2.59 m
Although the American has only one WTA 250 title to her name this season, she reached the French Open semifinals in singles and won the title in doubles. Furthermore, she reached the final four at the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Rome.
9. Stefanos Tsitsipas - $2.74m
The Greek star collected a hefty check when he won the title in Monte Carlo, in addition to finishing runner-up in Barcelona.
8. Jasmine Paolini - $2.8m
The breakout star of 2024, Paolini won the biggest title of her career in Dubai. The Italian also finished runner-up in both singles and doubles at the French Open.
7. Daniil Medvedev - $2.86m
The former World No.1 is yet to win a title in 2024. However, he finished runner-up at the Australian Open and Indian Wells.
6. Casper Ruud - $3.16m
Having already lifted two titles this season at Barcelona and Geneva, Ruud added more to his earnings by reaching the semifinals at Roland Garros and finishing runner-up in Monte Carlo.
5. Aryna Sabalenka - $3.71m
The Belarusian star defended her title at the Australian Open, in addition to finishing runner-up at Madrid and Rome.
4. Carlos Alcaraz - $4.52m
The Spaniard won his maiden Roland Garros title last week, adding to his impressive total that featured earnings from a quarterfinal appearance at the Australian Open and a title win at Indian Wells.
3. Alexander Zverev - $4.63m
The former World No.2 is having a resurgent season, finishing runner-up at the French Open. Additionally, Zverev lifted the title in Rome and finished in the final four at the Australian Open.
2. Jannik Sinner - $5.16m
The Italian is on course for a record year in prize money earnings, following his victory at the Australian Open. Sinner also won the Miami Open, Rotterdam and reached the semifinals at the French Open.
1. Iga Swiatek - $6.68m
The WTA World No.1 earned just over $9m in 2022 and 2023, and is likely to smash those records this year. In addition to her $2,567,051 check from her Roland Garros victory, the Polish star won titles at Indian Wells, Madrid, Rome and Qatar. She is already ninth on the all-time list for career earnings on the WTA Tour.
