Sofia Kenin was slated for many great things this season, particularly after her stunning Australian Open run. To show that it wasn’t a fluke she won one more trophy before the season got suspended. Now in quarantine like the most of us, she shifted focus to other things:

“Cooking, I’ve been mostly busy with that, trying to learn how to bake. Obviously spending more time with the family it’s also nice.”

When asked about her special relationship with Kim Clijsters she said:

“I’m super happy to see Kim here. I’m super happy to see her back and healthy and I wish her all the best.”

Speaking about the goals for this event and moving forward she said that she would obviously like to win it but most of all it’s important that all stay healthy and without any injuries. As far as the season goes she hopes that things can resume in a safe manner and hopefully she can return to her form prior to the postponement.
