Recent Roland Garros champion
Rafael Nadal is a man of many talents, and the 13-time French Open champion will get another opportunity to prove this as he participates in a golf tournament in Mallorca.
Following his Roland Garros victory, Nadal tied Roger Federer with the most mens Grand Slam singles titles at 20. However, it seems the Spaniard has not lost his competitive edge as he will swap his racket for golf clubs when he plays in the Balearic Championship in Mallorca on Saturday.
The event consists of 60 players, which consists of 23 golf professionals and 37 amateurs. Apparently, the 34-year old is an excellent golfer with a handicap of 0.3 and can hold his won on the golf turf.
To further add to his golfing accolades, the World No.2 finished second last weekend at the V Test Circuit Hexagonal - Autovidal in Calvia. If his fighting spirit on the turf is anywhere close to his demeanor on the tennis court, then the Spaniard is likely to secure a top finish at this event.
