After previously deciding that no proof of vaccination would be needed or a negative Coronavirus test, the USTA have back tracked on that ahead of the
US Open with proof of vaccination now needed.
In a USTA statement released on Friday evening (below), they revealed that the New York Mayor's office were mandating vaccination for entry given the 'evolution of the Delta variant' and putting health and safety first.
The former has decided that this will now apply to anyone 12-years-old and older and anyone whether going to Arthur Ashe stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand or on the grounds has to have had at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
This can be done by a number of means depending on where the attendee is based with more information below as Flushing Meadows returns to 100% capacity.
