Roland Garros becomes first Grand Slam tournament to offer anti cyber-bullying tool to protect players' social media accounts

Tournament Director, Amelie Mauresmo is taking part in a pre-tournament press conference to launch this year's French Open at Roland Garros.

Among the initial snippets is that the tournament will be the first to offer an anti cyber-bullying tool in order to protect all players' social media accounts.

Vicious abuse directed to players especially due to fans losing bets is prevalent around all sports and seems that the tournament will be one of the first to implement a route to curb this.

As well as implementing a well-being space to help players' mental health and well-being.

“Roland-Garros is the first Grand Slam tournament to offer an anti cyber-bullying tool in order to protect all of our players’ social media accounts," she said.

"We will provide additional space for the well-being of the players."
