Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas are set to team up again in mixed doubles. The pair confirmed their participation in the Eisenhower Cup, a mixed exhibition tournament featuring eight ATP and WTA Tour pairs as a lead-up to Indian Wells.
The event will take place on 4 March, bringing together some of the biggest names on Tour, with Badosa and Tsitsipas leading the lineup. They previously paired up in the same exhibition event in 2024, reaching the final before falling to Americans Ben Shelton and Emma Navarro.
They won’t be the only tennis couple joining forces, as Australian Alex De Minaur will partner with his fiancée, Britain’s Katie Boulter. The duo previously competed together at Wimbledon 2023, securing one win before losing in the second round.
Another exciting partnership will see Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz reunite, having won the 2023 edition of the Eisenhower Cup. Meanwhile, Maria Sakkari will team up with Norwegian three-time Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud. Two more partnerships are yet to be confirmed in what promises to be a thrilling event, serving as a valuable warm-up before the Sunshine Double.
Indian Wells will take place from 3 to 16 March, featuring a 96-player singles draw. The defending champions are Iga Swiatek, who defeated Maria Sakkari in the 2024 final, and Carlos Alcaraz, who triumphed over Daniil Medvedev.
