World No.1's Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek were the highest prize-money earners of 2023 in the ATP and WTA tour respectively, with several other top-ranked players taking home over $1 million in prize money.
The Serbian earned $15,952,044 in prize money on the ATP tour in 2023, after winning three of the four Grand Slam events. Conversely, Swiatek took home $9,857,686 on the WTA tour, as she led all players with 6 titles, including the French Open and WTA Finals trophies.
World No.2 and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz took home $10,753,431, whereas Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner and Andrey Rublev rounded out the top 5 with on-court earnings of over $5 million each. Twelve men's doubles players also earned more than $1 million in prize money. The list includes Joe Salsibury, Rajeev Ram, Ivan Dodig, Matt Ebden, and Rohan Bopanna.
On the WTA, Aryna Sabalenka finished second with $8,195,703 in prize-money winnings, as Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina made the top 5, also finishing the year with more than $5 million in prize money.
