Currently facing off in the United Cup with Novak Djokovic and Olga Danilovic in the Serbia v China mixed doubles decider, Qinwen Zheng left her mark on the World No.1 as he was taken off his feet by the rising Chinese WTA star.
After serving and a mini-rally, Zheng smashed a return back over the net towards Djokovic which caught him off guard and saw him curl up into a ball. But hilariously he got up and did the 'I'm watching you gesture' with two fingers to his eyes then pointing them back at 'Queenwen'.
This comes a day after Djokovic interrupted China's press conference after defeating Czech Republic waving at Qinwen Zheng to which she responded 'My idol, please don't go, I haven't got your autograph.'
Zheng just responded with a big smile after being called out by the 24-time Grand Slam champion. Not so starstruck now. She saw off Olga Danilovic to reach the mixed doubles decider after Djokovic saw off Zhizhen Zhang earlier today. If China win, they move through after taking down Czech Republic earlier this week. But Zheng certainly has a moment to remember from this tie.
