With the UK seemingly ready to remove Coronavirus restrictions on July 19, it has been announced that from the Quarter-Finals onwards both Centre and No.1 Courts will move to 100% capacity.
This is following the successful staging of the opening week of the tournament and as per agreement with the ERP (Events Research Programme) who are using the tournament as a pilot ahead of reopening as well as Merton Council, this will now take place.
It will mark the first time outdoor stadiums in the UK have been full for sporting events since the pandemic began with the capacity of Centre Court seeing 14,979 flood through the gates for the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final.
While on No.1 Court, it will be 12,345 with other courts remaining reduced depending on courts needed in play.
Tickets will go back on sale as a result with further allocation allowed as a result of this announcement but those attending will need to show proof of COVID status (double vaccination or a negative test done before entry).

We are pleased to announce that Centre and No.1 Court will have 100% capacity crowds for the Quarter-Finals, with Centre also at 100% for the Semi-Finals and Finals. This will make them the first full outdoor stadiums at a UK sporting event since the pandemic began. #Wimbledon
