The Grampians Trophy takes place between February 3-7 in Melbourne, gathering 28 players who had to serve strict two-week quarantine without leaving the room since landing in Australia.
The tournament is in the WTA 500 category like the other two in the first week of February, serving as the only opportunity for those players to compete before the season's first Major that starts on February 8.
Eleven top-30 players will fight for the trophy and notable points, led by the former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu who enters the court for the first time since October 2019.
Belinda Bencic, Victoria Azarenka and Elena Rybakina complete the top-20 lineup, with Maria Sakkari, Anett Kontaveit and Jennifer Brady hoping to spoil their party and battle for the trophy.
