2021 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix Draw with Barty, Halep and Kenin

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is a WTA 500 event played on clay that will run from April 19th till April 25th featuring Barty, Halep, Kenin, Svitolina and many more.

The event is held indoors but played on clay which makes it a rarity on the tour nowadays. As a prestigious event from the 500 series it always draws a strong field of play which is even stronger this year. It is headlined by Barty, Halep, Kenin, Svitolina, Sabalenka, Pliskova and defending champion Kvitova.

It was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic with Petra Kvitova winning it in 2019. Karolina Pliskova won the event in 2018 and she will also play this year. Interestingly Simona Halep never won the event or played in the final as a noted clay-court specialist.

The top four seeds will receive a BYE in the first round with several great 2nd round matchups possible. Defending champion Kvitova might play world number 18 Sakkari in the 2nd round while 2nd seed Halep might play Vondrousova in the 2nd round which is a great clay clash.
