2021 WTA Birmingham Classic Draw released including Mertens, Jabeur and Kostyuk

As well as grass tournaments happening in Berlin and on the men's side, Halle and Queen's this next week (14-20 June), there is also the Birmingham Classic with the draw now released for the WTA 250 tournament.

It is a field headed up by Elise Mertens who is top seed and will take on Ajla Tomljanovic. The winner plays either Kristyna Pliskova or a qualifier.

While, Marie Bouzkova who lost to Katie Boulter last week in Nottingham will face Su-Wei Hsieh. Daria Kasatkina faces Polona Hercog, while Marta Kostyuk who reached the latter stages of Roland Garros begins her grass court preparation against Madison Brengle.

Donna Vekic, third seed will face wildcard Brit, Francesca Jones. It is an all French clash between Fiona Ferro and Kristina Mladenovic, while Ons Jabeur who is second seed could face Leylah Fernandez in the second round with both taking on qualifiers in their openers.
