The Chicago Women's Open is one of the final tournaments set before the US Open takes place at the end of August with the last chance on the WTA tour for preparation coming in this and Cleveland.
A WTA 250 tournament, it holds $235,238 of financial commitment with a field currently headlined by Elena Rybakina, Tamara Zidansek and Camila Giorgi.
