2021 Yarra Valley Classic Draw released with Williams, Barty, Kenin

The fans of women's tennis all around the world will watch the two WTA events in Melbourne from the 31st of January - 6th of February 2021, the Yarra Valley Classic will be one of them.

The draw of the second WTA tournament of the 2021 season, brought a lot of interesting clashes. The first ten seeded players have a bye in the first round, and so they automatically advance to the second round. This includes Ashleigh Barty, Sofia Kenin and also Serena Williams.

Despite the absence of the best players in the first round, there will be still some interesting matchups. Sam Stosur will play in the event, as she will meet the 16th-seeded Marie Bouzkova. Tsvetana Pironkova will play against Liudmila Samsonova.

In the second round, we will see the first-seeded Ashleigh Barty taking on Ana Bogdan or Kamilla Rakhimova. No. 2 at the Yarra Valley Classic, Sofia Kenin will play against Camila Giorgi or Clara Burel. The third-seeded Karolina Pliskova will meet Elisabetta Cocciaretto or Lin Zhu and her Czech compatriot and the fourth-seeded Petra Kvitova will take on Venus Williams or Arantxa Rus. Serena Williams will play against Daria Gavrilova or Viktoria Kuzmova in the second round, as the fifth-seeded woman at the tournament.
