2022 Citi Open Washington WTA Prize Money with $251,750 on offer

The North American hard-court season will be underway when the Citi Open Washington event kicks off on August 1, with numerous WTA stars still vying for their first title of the season.

American Jessica Pegula will be present to defend the title she won in 2019, and she will be joined by compatriots Sloane Stephens, Sofia Kenin and WTA legend Venus Williams, who was granted a wildcard entry to the event.

Joining the American contingent are reigning US Open champion Emma Raducanu. alongside two-time Grand Slam champions Simona Halep and Victoria Azarenka. Big-hitting Belgian Elise Mertens is also scheduled to compete, as is Estonian veteran Kaia Kanepi.

With so much talent present at the WTA 250 event, the prize pool is worth an enticing $251,750. Below is the breakdown.
