2022 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic Prize Money with $116,340 to the winner

The US Open Series kicks off next week as the WTA Tour returns to the North American hard courts, with the city of San Jose playing host for the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic.

A WTA 500 tournament, this year features some of the best players on tour with the likes of Ons Jabeur, Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka scheduled to compete. Several of the WTA's Top 10 players will also be in attendance, including Maria Sakkari, Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka.

Reigning Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina will be competing in her first event since lifting the title at the All England Club a few weeks ago, while two-time Major champion Garbine Muguruza will also be present.

Defending champion Danielle Collins was scheduled to compete, but announced her withdrawal a few days ago due to an injury. The prize pool features a substantial $116,340 to the winner, with the event running from August 1-7, 2022.
