2022 Tallinn Open Draw including Kontaveit, Rybakina, Keys, Ostapenko, Krejickova and Haddad-Maia

The 2022 Tallinn Open is the first WTA 250 event in Estonia and the top seed is the best Estonian player Anett Kontaveit.

She was the one that pushed heavily for her country to get a chance to stage this event and now she'll see that dream of hers happen. As noted above she is the top seed and her event will kick off against Xiyu Wang. Should she win that one, she'll face either a qualifier or Tereza Martincova.

The second seed is Belinda Bencic and she will play either Elena Malygina in round one with round two possible having Jacqueline Christian or a qualifier. Beatriz Haddad Maia is the 3rd seed and she will face Xinyu Wang with round two possible having her facing Diane Parry.

Some other interesting matchups include Elena Rybakina against Laura Siegemund, Kaia Kanepi against Jelena Ostapenko and Barbora Krejcikova against Alja Tomljanovic.
