The 2022
Cleveland Open will run from August 21st till August 27th and will feature a solid field with $ 251,750 on offer.
The event will serve as one of the final preparation events for WTA players for the US Open and it features a grand slam champion in
Barbora Krejcikova. The Czech player has not had a very good time since returning from injury but she played really well in New York last year so maybe she can rediscover some form.
Her competition at the event is decent but nothing the former top 10 player can not handle. Players like Trevisan, Alexandrova, Mertens, Begu and Kenin are all decent players but none of them are moving the meter at this part in time.
Either way, the winner of the event will get $ 33,200 while the runner-up will get $ 19,750. Semi-finalists will get $ 11,000 and quarter-finalists will get $ 6,200. Check out the full breakdown below.
