prize money and points breakdown has been confirmed with $267,082 on offer between 19-24 August, 2024.
Among those involved include
Leylah Fernandez, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Peyton Stearns and also defending champion, Sara Sorribes Tormo.
As well as
Venus Williams who faces Mirra Andreeva in a landmark first round tie between the 43-year-old and 16-year-old. But what will they battle it out for?
The winner gets $35,250 and 280 WTA ranking points, the finalist will receive $20,830 and 180 ranking points. While Semi-Finalists receive 110 points and $11,610.
Tennis in the Land is a relatively new women's tennis tournament on the WTA Tour, first held in 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio. It is part of the WTA 250 series and is played on outdoor hard courts. The event is held in the week leading up to the US Open, making it a key part of the US Open Series.
