The second edition of the
Jasmin Open Monastir is set to take place at the Magic Hotel Skanes in Tunisia from October 16-22. Here is the breakdown of the

WTA 250 event.
There will be 280 WTA Ranking points on offer for the winner of the tournament.
Ons Jabeur will be the top seed and will be hoping to secure some points on home soil after a disappointing few weeks.
The Tunisian player crashed out of the US Open in the fourth round against Qinwen Zheng before losing to Martina Trevisan in her second round match at the Guadalajara Open last week.
Defending champion and World No. 29
Elise Mertens will be back and aiming to maintain the points she won last year. Also returning will be the 2022 runner-up Alize Cornet, who lost the final 2-6, 0-6. Meanwhile, Jasmine Paolini and Trevisan will also be among those fighting for the title.
Prize money increased since last year
The prize money purse at the tournament has increased by 3% since last year, with $259,303 on offer at the 2023 event. The winner will take home a paycheck of $34,228.
