The Internationaux de Strasbourg is an event taking place only days before the French Open and as such many great players decided to take part to prepare for the grand slam. Today's programme at the event featured 11 matches where some were amazing. The event held in France had several French players defending the honour of the French on the courts today. Alize Cornet played against Polona Hercog and she won 6-3 6-4. Other French player's such as Parmentier didn't have the same luck as she was defeated by Magda Linette.

Elena Rybakina returned to winning ways after her unfortunate exit in Rome a few days ago. Gretje Minnen proved no match for the Kazahki player. Sloane Stephens and Ajla Tomljanovic didn't play good matches today and both of them are already off to Paris to prepare for the grand slam. The program was closed out by two great players in Siniakova and Ostapenko. Siniakova played against Pera and fought back from being down 1-0 in sets to ultimately win it in three.
