It will be business as usual for Madison Keys, as the American's participation at the 2025 Charleston Open has been confirmed.
Keys stunned the tennis community in January, when she defeated the likes of Iga Swiatek and then Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open final to win her maiden Grand Slam title. The 29-year old had been playing some of the best tennis of her career to start the 2025 season, as she lifted the trophy at the Adelaide International just a few days prior to the first Grand Slam of the season.
The World No.6 will be making her return to America when she competes at the Charleston Open, an event she frequents almost every year. Keys won the title at the 2019 edition, and she announced her intent to participate at this year's event, which runs from March 29-April 6, 2025.
"Charleston has always felt like home to me, and I can't wait to be back this year," wrote Keys in a statement. "It's a tournament I hold close to my heart...not just because of the results I've had here, but because of the amazing atmosphere. The fans, the city, the entire tournament feel like family. I'm excited to return and hopefully add to the special memories I've made there."
