Victoria Azarenka has withdrawn from the
Rome Open due to a right leg injury which forced her to abandon plans of playing in the singles and doubles.
Azarenka hasn't played that well in singles in Madrid but she won the doubles trophy in Madrid with Haddad Maia opting to play with her in Rome. Both her singles and doubles match was supposed to take place today however neither will go ahead as she withdrew with a right leg injury. It was announced on the event's Twitter page.
Madison Keys advanced to the next round with a walkover.
