Belinda Bencic will now be wearing Asics gear as the Swiss player elected to make the move after getting familiar with the quality of their products recently.
Asics has been a big name in sports for many years and Belinda Bencic has now elected to switch over to team. She's not the first tennis player that will wear Asics gear nor the last. Bencic is excited to wear Asics believing the top quality is needed in order for her to further improve as a tennis player.
She said:
“ASICS is renowned all over the world as the top technical tennis footwear and apparel brand. Their attention to detail at all levels of product development gives me confidence that I will be wearing the most advanced tennis shoes and apparel in the game. I am proud to represent ASICS and what they stand for, especially their support of mental well-being and the positive benefit of sport on the mind, so I could not be more excited to join the ASICS tennis team."
Asics also released a statement saying:
“With an already impressive career, Belinda is a fantastic addition to the roster of ASICS Tennis. She understands the importance of moving with purpose and has translated this into phenomenal success on the court. This ties in very well with our ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy, and we cannot be more excited to support her on and off the tennis court.”
