The field for the 2023
Bad Homburg Open continues to grow in star power, with former World No.4
Bianca Andreescu the latest to join the fray.
The 2019 US Open champion, who finished runner-up to Caroline Garcia last year, will be hoping to go one step further at this year's edition. The Canadian will be joining World No.1 Iga Swiatek and German star Tatjana Maria, as the pair have already been announced for the event.
"I just wanted to announce that I'll be returning to the Bad Homburg Open," said Andreescu in a video released by the tournament. "I have such fond memories there and I'm very excited."
Andreescu suffered a grisly ankle injury a few weeks ago at the Miami Open, but has since been cleared to return to practice and hopes to be fit to compete at the event. The Bad Homburg Open will run from June 25-July 1, as participants prepare for the Wimbledon Championships.
