Bouchard returns to tennis court.... for New Balance tennis advert

Eugenie Bouchard has made her return to the tennis court, albeit for a New Balance commercial.

The Canadian last saw action during the qualifying rounds of the 2023 Australian Open, after taking 17 months off to recuperate from a nagging shoulder injury.

Despite her inactivity on the court, the 2014 Wimbledon finalist is still very active on social media, recently reaching a milestone in followers on Instagram. Additionally, she still boasts a number of endorsement deals, among which is the athletic shoe company New Balance, who signed with the star in 2021.

New Balance recently released a new commercial in alignment with the Miami Open, and this star-studded advert features a number of tennis stars, including Tommy Paul, Sorana Cîrstea, Heather Watson and Jordan Thompson.

Bouchard is shown on a tennis court, posing in her all-white New Balance tennis kit. She is also shown hugging her beloved grandmother on a sofa, as well as talking to reporters.

The advert was posted on New Balance Tennis’s Instagram page with the caption: “Miami vibes 🤝 NB tennis party. We had a blast hanging with our amazing NB team!”
