The Spanish player who recently returned to tennis after winning the battle against cancer announced on her official Twitter she will represent Spain at the Tokyo Olympic Games. As per rule, every nation can send four players to the Olympic Games and as the 4th best ranked Spanish player currently Suarez Navarro qualified.
It was not clear whether she would commit to it but now she announced she would represent Spain one last time. As she announced earlier in the year this will be her final season on the tour. Suarez Navarro is currently in London preparing for Wimbledon.
