Victoria Azarenka is the main player who has been re-elected to serve another term, while Gabriela Dabrowski will also resume her role on the WTA Players' Council.
This alongside existing players such as Madison Keys, Jessica Pegula and Donna Vekic. But there have been two new additions.
Those being
Caroline Garcia to join four top 20 players on the list. While
Daria Saville will also take her spot on the Players' Council. Players serve two year terms on the Players' Council.
They are there as a sounding board for players when it comes to the big decisions which for the WTA as of late have included scheduling woes and performance byes. This new team though won't start until after October 29 - November 5 which is when the WTA Finals takes place in Cancun.
