Coco Gauff throws out first pitch and San Francisco Giant game

Coco Gauff is set to compete at the Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose but she took time out of her schedule to travel up north for some Baseball.

Making the trip up north to Oracle park in San Francisco, Gauff answered an invitation from the San Francisco Giants to throw out the first pitch in their game against the Chicago Cubs. The young American did a pretty good job throwing out the first pitch and not missing the catcher. She watched the game and went back home after that.

The American has not played an official match since her Wimbledon exit however she did play two exhibition matches in Atlanta this week winning both of them. Gauff is on the cusp of breaking into the top 10 and a good showing in San Jose could certainly get that done. It would be the first time she is ranked inside the top 10.
