Draw 2022 Bad Homburg Open including Andreescu-Trevisan, Halep-Siniakova and Bencic-Lisicki

The 2022 grass event in Bad Homburg returns this year with a fairly solid field headlined by Daria Kasatkina as the top seed and Belinda Bencic as the 2nd seed.

Daria Kasatkina will continue her breakout season in Bad Homburg as the top seed at the event. She opens her event against native Andrea Petkovic which should be a very good challenge for her overall. The 2nd seed is Belinda Bencic and she will kick off her campaign against Sabine Lisicki.

The 3rd seed is Angelique Kerber and she is the defending champion of this event having beaten Katerina Siniakova in the final last year. Kerber kicks off her campaign against a qualifier with Kaja Juvan possibly waiting in round two. They played a brutal match in Lyon earlier this year.

Some other interesting matches include a clash between youngsters Clare Liu and Jule Niemeier, Kudermetova - Kalinskaya, Sasnovich - Garcia. Simona Halep will also play here and she will start against last year's finalist Katerina Siniakova.

Another interesting one is between Roland Garros semifinalist Martina Trevisan and Bianca Andreescu who played very well in Berlin. Check out the full draw below.
