DRAW Bad Homburg Open 2025 including Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini, Iga Swiatek and Mirra Andreeva
WTA
The draw has been confirmed for the 2025 Bad Homburg Open which will take place between June 22-28, 2025 on the grass courts of Germany. It is a WTA 500 and is the last main tournament before Wimbledon.
In years past it would've been Eastbourne as the main stopping point before Wimbledon, but Queen's gaining such a prominent new spot on the calendar means that Nottingham is shifted a week, Eastbourne is downgraded and in the case of Birmingham it is shifted off the main calendar entirely.
In Europe, it still retains some semblance of normal knockings with Berlin and Bad Homburg the main tournaments over the course of the run up. It sees Iga Swiatek make her bow for the grass court season.
A first look at the Pole after her Queen of Clay title was removed after a poor Roland Garros. She faces likely Laura Siegemund then Ekaterina Alexandrova could await. She faces Belinda Bencic in the same section as Yulia Putintseva and Maria Sakkari.

Jessica Pegula lost damningly to Liudmila Samsonova in a war of attrition and will likely be hiding behind the sofa after she was drawn to face her likely in the second round. Then early it could be one of Marta Kostyuk or Emma Navarro or Naomi Osaka so doesn't get easier.
A stacked but small draw Elina Svitolina faces s'Hertogenbosch champion Elise Mertens. They sit in a section with Leylah Fernandez v Tatjana Maria. The winner of which faces Jasmine Paolini.
Another tie to watch is in the top section as Donna Vekic faces Diana Shnaider a great precursor ahead of Wimbledon and the main focus of the next week for the top stars as they aim to head towards Wimbledon in style. Who reigns as champion in Germany?
