Draw released for China Open: Andreescu back in action, Barty and Pliskova also among stacked field in Beijing

The draw has been released for the China Open which started on Friday and continues on until October 6 with a star studded field set to take their place.

This includes Bianca Andreescu who will be in action for the first time since her US Open triumph. The number five seed faces Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the first round.
Ashleigh Barty is also in action; she has a bye in the first round and will take on either Yulia Putintseva or a Qualifier in the second round.
Other players involved include Elina Svitolina, no.3 seed; Naomi Osaka who is no.4 seed and the very in-form Karolina Pliskova despite losing to Dayana Yastremska at the Wuhan Open; who faces Jelena Ostapenko.
Top ties include Barbora Strycova taking on Venus Williams, Belinda Bencic could face the winner of that with Su-Wei Hsieh; her first challenge.
As well as Sofia Kenin against Garbine Muguruza as the American aims to continue her hard court form; Kiki Bertens against Donna Vekic finally will be part of a stacked field; which also includes Simona Halep who will hope to put her injury problems to the back of her mind in Beijing.
