Britain’s young tennis star Emma Raducanu makes a stylish appearance
in the Paris Fashion Week.
The 20-year-old appeared at the event wearing a monochrome
black outfit and on the arm of mooted boyfriend, Carlo Agostinelli. She is the brand ambassador of the French fashion company Dior.
Raducanu’s appearance at the mega event will not come as a surprise
as she has been in the French capital for some days and she has also been very active
socially despite spending time on the sidelines to continue her recovery from an
injury.

The Toronto-born broke onto the scene in 2021 when she won
the US Open after beating Canada’s Leylah Fernandez in the final with a score of
6-4, 6-3.
That victory was even more special considering Raducanu
started the competition through a qualifying stage.
The joy of that result was rather short-lived as Raducanu
has struggled with form and fitness in particular.
She has not been able to qualify for the quarterfinal or
beyond in any of the mega-events since her victory in New York.
It is because of the
injuries that Raducanu managed to appear in just one out of the four Grand Slams
this year — the Australian Open — where she was knocked out of the second round after losing to America’s Coco Gauff in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 7-6.

- Great article! I began cheering for the “real” doubles specialists at the beginning but once they all lost their respective matches I really didn’t care who actually won the whole tournament. I liked the last four teams in the semifinals and would have enjoyed seeing any of them win the trophy!
