Emma Raducanu receives Indian Wells Masters wild card

Emma Raducanu will return to tennis at the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells as the event announced on their official Twitter page that the Brit received a wild card entry.

Much has been talked about the return of Emma Raducanu to tennis as the Brit herself was not sure when she will be back to tennis. Well, officially, she will be back next week at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells as she received a wild card entry into the event which she accepted. It has been speculated for a while now that Raducanu will receive a wild card entry especially after it became known that in order to play at the event she might need to play the qualification.

The Entry List cut-off was made before the US Open hence why Raducanu was viewed as a player ranked way below the threshold needed to enter the main draw directly. Either way, American tennis fans will get another taste of the US Open champion who will look to continue her excellent performances on North American hard courts.

The event starts next week and will run from Ocotber 6th till October 17th.
